Naked Baby

So Keller has been hanging out naked again for much of the day. The poor kid has a red red heiny again (and it's NOT from dairy this time because he hasn't had any...hmmm...) He's been pooping a lot (although he always seems to so that's not new) but maybe it's because it's the diarrhea kind:( Poor kid and now poor me for having to clean up his pee and poo all day! Bleh! Good thing I finally purchased my new steam mop which I christened yesterday. And looks like after all of today's action I'll be using it tomorrow, too! What are your secret tricks for clearing up diaper rash besides the al fresco thing???

Also in the news...Keller finally moved into his big boy carseat. He probably had less than an inch to go in his bucket seat and the big Britax box in the basement was taking up too much room;) and so he moved into the new one, facing front and now talking my ear off in the car repeating everything he sees, over and over, and over again! "Car, car, car, car, car" "sunny, sunny, sunny, sunny, sunny..." "light, light, light, light, light..." You get the idea:) The old seat is now all shined up, cover washed, straps lowered and in the attic for the next few months before we'll need it again:)

And the house...has a sign out front and we're working on a "postlets" listing which will automatically post our home on a bunch of sites that advertise For Sale By Owner houses. The house next door didn't end up selling and is back on the market like a new listing and people have been coming by to see it so Trav thought we should take advantage of that already existing traffic. Hey if we can sell without having to pay commission, that would be ideal, but we'll see how things go. My "listing agent" (ie. Mom) has been guiding me through and once we've tried the By Owner thing for a little bit then we'll list through her. SO, if you know anyone in the area looking to take advantage of the First Time Buyers $8000 credit by the end of April, send them our way! It's been a great little house to us and I love it love it love it, but it's time to let her go:( So that is a big project that's been keeping us pretty busy around here, cleaning, organizing, and cleaning some more. Last night we went to bed with a big pile of junk at the curb from cleaning out the basement and Trav said, "I feel like a kid on Christmas because I can't wait to wake up in the morning and see what the garbage men take (and leave)." And, they took it all (except the queen mattress which we didn't expect them to take). And on Monday, the broken washing machine and dented metal file cabinet were politely removed from the curb which was great because it saved Trav from lifting that big heavy thing again and getting it to the dump. Good stuff!

And so I'll try to put Keller down for a late nap (he took a catnap earlier today) and squeeze in a nap for myself...been sleeping horribly lately--boo!

When Becca had really bad diaper rash that left blisters, I used Neosporin (and naked time) and it helped to clear it quickly. Good luck on the rash and the house listing.
